CVZ Selections: New and New-ish Music Videos by Fruut Grocer and Man Like Machine

We've got 3 new(ish) music videos for you to check out!! Time isn't real to us anymore, which is how a FULL MONTH somehow passed since Grocer released their music video for Blue Danube, the second single off of their upcoming album, set to release at the end of May!

Dani Mullen of Fruut has been putting us all to shame with their insane productivity during this quarantine (not that it's a competition, but damn are they THRIVING). Fruut and Fortunwest released FAKE IT today on all streaming platforms. The music video accompanying the single was shot by Outergrace and came out yesterday. It's like a mix between home movies and Tron.

Time isn't real to us anymore, which is how a FULL MONTH somehow passed since Grocer released their music video for Blue Danube, the second single off of their upcoming album, set to release at the end of May! The song is about the harder parts of a relationship, but I've applied it to experiencing this quarantine and I have to say, it really fits. The video is a weird green screen adventure through an abandoned hotel, an oddly fitting backdrop to the drawling vocals and droning music that really makes you feel the hopelessness and confusion in the lyrics.

This last one is a music video for the song, Petman, by Man Like Machine. Inspired by a love of the silent film, Metropolis, the music video is about (and I'm just going to let Joshua Bright, the vocalist and guitarist for the band explain in his own words because it really is the best description), "A middle aged Man baby, raised & encaged by Artificial Intelligence from birth, finally reaches the brink of madness while pondering what it's like to walk outside..."
